So after seeing these stunning views and descending the 463 steps we were hungry. Rejoining members of our party at the foot of the bell tower we went to a great lunch at Sasso di Dante where we enjoyed a cozy authentic Italian lunch. We then had to get more gelato and cross the Ponte Vecchio to meet Dr. Leopardi for our Ivory lab tour.
